What You’ll Learn Throughout the Series

This five-week program, starting May 15, 2025, meets each Thursday at 5:30 PM EST. Each session is crafted to provide actionable techniques that you can apply both in and outside the program, building a comprehensive toolkit for lasting change.

Session 1: The Essentials

Kick off the series by understanding the foundations of anxiety. Discover the “hard wiring” behind anxious responses, learn about the roles of the autonomic nervous system, and explore the basics of an integrative approach to managing anxiety.

Session 2: Quiet the Mind and Body through Relaxation

Learn how to relax deeply and why relaxation is vital in managing anxiety. Dr. Daitch will guide you through techniques to calm both mind and body, setting the stage for inner peace.

Session 3: Minding the Mind with Cognitive Therapy

Dive into cognitive techniques to manage worry and reduce anxiety. Learn how to interrupt unhelpful thoughts, delay worrying, and move beyond the mental “sticky traps” that keep you feeling stuck.

Session 4: Settling the Mind and Clearing the Water with Mindfulness

Dr. Daitch will introduce mindfulness practices designed to bring you into the present moment, release negativity, and foster self-compassion.

Session 5: The Power of Self-Hypnosis
