Spring is finally here and it has been a busy season for me so far.
In April, I had the honor to teach a three-day course for advanced practitioners on Affect Regulation, Anxiety and Trauma under the auspices of the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis in Albany, New York.
On June 9th, I will be traveling to Toronto, Ontario, Canada to teach a workshop on Anxiety and Trauma at the 2018 Mind-Body-Spirit Conference. This gathering celebrates the mind-body-spirit connections within an integrative model of psychotherapy. For more information, visit https://www.daybreaktherapy.ca/mind-body-spirit-conference.
I mentioned in a previous post that, in January, I was interviewed by Karen Day, an expert in mind-body-spirit wellness. During that interview, we discussed a wide range of topics including mind-body connections in affect regulation; integrating hypnosis with CBT; working with couples while incorporating visualization; and the creation of a sacred space within an integrative psychotherapy practice. I will also be continuing my monthly Mentorship group for practitioners in the Detroit area.
